To kick things off, here’s a favorite recipe of mine. I’ve made variations of this probably four times in the last two months. It’s so good… and so easy, like your mom.
Chorizo Brussels Sprout Slaw
- Wellshire All-Natural Smoked Chorizo (Whole Foods), cut into small pieces
- Pre-slawed Brussels Sprouts (Trader Joe’s)
- Sliced almonds, toasted if you want
- Raisins (optional)
- Crushed red pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt, Pepper
- Lemon juice
Below is another slaw that I made in a similar way, but with slawed broccoli instead. Not the best picture, but this one was pretty good hot or cold as well!
